Highlights: "Victoria" - is one of the most spectacular attractions of Africa and one of the most unusual waterfalls in the world. It is created by the Zambezi River that suddenly plummets into a narrow, 100-meters deep chasm. At the same time, Victoria - is the only waterfall in the world that is over one kilometer wide and over one hundred meters deep.

The Zambezi Queen is unique in that it's a sophisticated, elegant experience that has not lost the essence of all that is uniquely African.

On Botswana's far northern border lie the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe River systems that form a mosaic of lakes, islands, channels and floodplains. Part of this system is the Chobe National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephant and buffalo.

The Christuskirche, which is right next to the Tintenpalast, with its graceful sphere provides the city with a striking landmark. The white - walled Alte Feste, which was once a fort and now a museum, reflects the history of the country. Windhoek lies 1650m above sea level. The population of Windhoek consists of only 300 000 people which nevertheless makes Windhoek the largest city in the country. The biggest part of Windhoek's population stays in Katutura, the Bantu speaking - suburb of the city. Katutura is an Oshiwambo word meaning: "the place where we do not want to stay".
