01 Day / Arrival in Namibia

Arrival at the International Airport, where you will be greeted by your english speaking driverguide. You will drive past Gobabis to your lodge near Buitepost.

Check-in and relax at the swimming pool of the lodge.

02 Day / Zelda Guestfarm

After breakfast we will visit the bushmen village in the vicinity.

We will return to the lodge and spend the afternoon at own leisure.

Late afternoon is dedicated for a sundowner drive to end our stressful day with snacks and drinks.

03 Day / Zelda Guestfarm - Ghanzi

Today we will depart via Buitepos to Ghanzi. En route we will be enjoying this everchanging landscapes.

Known to some as the "capital of the Kalahari", Ghanzi is the administrative centre of the Ghanzi district in Botswana. Being primarily a farming community, it supplies most of the Botswana Meat Board with its Beef produce. It houses a few supermarkets, a bank and an ATM and can be found enroute to the town of Maun.

04 Day / Ghanzi - Maun

Botswana After breakfast departure to Maun.

Maun started as a small village in 1915 but has now developed a reputation as being Botswana's tourism capital as well as the friendliest town in the country. Although it has many shopping centres, hotels and lodges it retains a rural atmosphere and local tribesmen continue to bring their cattle to Maun to sell. Its name derives from the San word "maun", which means "the place of short reeds" and is a self proclaimed gate way into the OkavangoDelta. The small Maun Game Reserve is an area of interest and is open every day.

Sunset cruise on the Thamalakane River will take our breath away.

05 & 06 Day / Maun - Gweta

Leisurely breakfast at Maun Lodge and then we will depart to Planet Baobab Lodge which is situated near Gweta.

The accommodation at Planet Baobab is truly original, reflecting the traditional building methods of the original inhabitants of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana.

07 Day / Gweta - Kasane

Departure via Nata to direction of Kasane.

Kasane is a haven of tourism attractions. It is situated in Botswana, where the four countries Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet. Kasane is the gateway into Chobe National Park and a popular access point for tourists heading to the Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls. A perfect destination for fishing safaris as it has a wide variety of fish species that can be found in the waterways off Kasane including tiger fish and bream. Visitors to the area are encouraged to participate in a sundowner river cruise or a trip to the rapids of the Chobe River.

Botswana Today we will have our sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

The infamous Chobe River is the border for Botswana and Namibia and provides an array of lush foliage, bird species, water dependent animals as well as wildlife population. A river cruise is a fantastic way to see the water buffalo, crocodiles, elephants, hippos, baboons and the abundant bird life, one might even see a lion or cheetah come to the river bank for a drink. The green flora surrounding the Chobe River is a refreshing scene particularly if you have come from the dry deserts of Namibia.

08 Day / Wildlife in Chobe National Park

After we enjoy our delicious breakfast, we will undertake the Game drive in Chobe National Park.

Well over 400 of Namibia's bird species occur in this part of the country and the region is steadily gaining a reputation as a retreat for bird - watchers, nature lovers and specialist travellers. It is also a growing interest to scientists studying the wetlands system and its flora and fauna. Sunset river cruises, photo safaris, swamp safaris, boating, a trip in a mokoro or dug out canoe and game viewing either in 4x4 vehicles or by boat are available for holidaymakers in this region.

09 & 10 Day / Kasane - Vic Falls

Today's journey will take us leisurely via Kazangula and Seseke to Vic Falls.

We will visit this stunning Victoria Falls that will give you really a breathtaking moment.

Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is the largest sheet of falling water. In full flood some 500 million litres of water cascade downwards at a speed of 100 meters per minute, causing a thunderous roar and towering columns of spray. Vic Falls is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. It has the wildest one day white water rafting trips on the planet and until recently the highest commercial bungee jump on earth.

Late afternoon we will be picked at our hotel to enjoy the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Great photographic opportunities exist here.
